抄録: Traditionally, games have been utilized in English language teaching (ELT) as one of the ways to facilitate language learning. With recent technological advancements, digital games have also been developed and used in education. Studies report that such use encourages learners to engage in classroom activities using their target language, and contributes to increase learnersʼ motivation. While such benefits have been reported about the use of games, little has been confirmed in terms of the learnersʼ perception of their use. This study aims to discuss the incorporation of gamification in ELT and explore the learnersʼ experience and their
perception toward the application of both traditional and digital gamified activities as a means of a questionnaire survey. Based on the findings, this paper discusses the necessary considerations for incorporating the games or digital apps with gamified elements in teaching.2023-02-28T15:00:00Z研究ノート:一般均衡解の存在証明に係る分析ツールの概観櫻田, 陽一http://hdl.handle.net/11470/10662023-09-08T16:30:08Z2023-02-28T15:00:00Zタイトル: 研究ノート:一般均衡解の存在証明に係る分析ツールの概観

抄録: In the Walras-Cassel type general equilibrium system, the coincidence of the number of equations and the number of unknown variables was regarded as the existence condition of the equilibrium solution. On the other hand, Wald,
Schlesinger, von Neumann and others have investigated the mathematical conditions ensuring the existence of equilibrium solutions, especially focusing on a non-negative solution. Also, with the advent of Brauwer and Kakutaniʼs fixed point theorem, the discussions for the existence of competitive equilibrium solutions were brilliantly developed by applying topology. With the theme of general equilibrium analysis, this paper traces the historical lineage of theories surrounding the conditions for the existence of competitive equilibrium solutions, focusing mainly on the mathematical content of analytical tools, and attempts to give an overview of them.2023-02-28T15:00:00ZWorking in Japan -Japanese Culture in the Eyes of a Taiwanese ExpatriateLan, Hongyanhttp://hdl.handle.net/11470/10652023-09-08T16:30:07Z2023-02-28T15:00:00Zタイトル: Working in Japan -Japanese Culture in the Eyes of a Taiwanese Expatriate

抄録: This paper attempts to explain one way to implement visual sociology in a 3rd year seminar course through the usage of video production. Both Project based learning (PBL) and active learning techniques are used to
support this course. The task at hand is specifically that the students create a short documentary over the year on a theme they have chosen.
The benefit to the students is to understand what it is like to work on a long-term group project from beginning to end while observing how their work as an individual has or has not assisted in its completion. Working with a group challenges students to create their own identity within the tasks they are presented. During the course, students learn both qualitative and quantitative research techniques as well as how to record their online research findings. The choice to attempt such a class also presents several challenges for the teacher as well. Students are graded throughout the semester with a series of rubrics which are shared with them periodically during the project. While the specialty of the instructor is being taught, in this case, a variety of sociological frameworks applied to themes generated from international cooperation and intercultural
communication are needed, the instructor must also have knowledge of video and audio production to assist the students when necessary in a timely fashion. This unique combination allows students to experience a
class they feel a part of and can easily visualize their work at the end of the full year course. This paper does not infer a conclusion but rather hopes to start a discussion of the process.2023-02-28T15:00:00Z
